She stands in the doorway, the light from the hall floating in, as if it were a gift. Her hair is perfect, not in a perfect way, but in a flawed, human way. Slowly she smiles, and the light seems to pulse, to grow with her radiance. Her skin, so pale, becomes clear to the eye, and seems so delicate that it would crack if a tear fell upon it.
She approaches, her fluid grace sends a shiver down his spine. Slowly, she raises her eyes from the foot of the bed to his eyes, and he begins to weep. So long has he waited for this sight, a sight remembered from so long ago. She reaches out and cradles his head in her arm

He waited in the foyer for her to arrive. He had longed for this day, imagined it in so many different surroundings. They had been apart for so long that he had almost forgotten what it was like to be with her.
She had arranged to meet him here because he worked nearby, and it was close to the train station. They used to come here, before she moved away, to watch movies and see plays.
She was late. He wasnt worried. She was always running late, and so were the trains for that matter. He checked his watch again; half an hour. She would be here soon, he knew.
